Ajax Amsterdam moved back into first place Sunday after a 3-1 victory at northern club FC Groningen.
Ajax has 18 points after seven rounds, two more than PSV Eindhoven and AZ Alkmaar. Heerenveen sits fourth with 15 points and Feyenoord is fifth with 13 after a 2-0 win over RBC Roosendaal.
Not even having their team bus destroyed by fire and a 20th-minute goal conceded to Arvid Smit could deter Ajax from a solid comeback.
