Brazilian striker Derlei scored a hat-trick for Porto in a 4-1 home win over Academica on Sunday that kept the champions top of Portugal's premier league.
After seven matches, Porto led on 19 points, with Maritimo, who beat Sporting 2-1 on Saturday, in second place three points behind. Boavista and Beira Mar shared third spot on 13 points each.

behind to beat Academica 4-1, scoring their first two goals within five minutes.
Academica had gone ahead in the seventh minute with a goal from a free kick
by Mozambican striker Dario Monteiro but three minutes later Porto winger Cesar

Derlei put Porto ahead 2-1 in the 15th minute after a goalmouth scramble from a corner and he scored again in the 42nd minute with a header after a free kick from compatriot playmaker Deco Souza.
The league's top scorer completed his hat-trick in the 49th minute and brought his number of goals this season to eight.
On Saturday, an injury time goal gave Maritimo a 2-1 home win over Sporting.
Sporting, who suffered their first defeat by the Madeira island team ground in nine years, went ahead in the 23rd minute when Brazilian striker Liedson headed home a neat cross by Chilean midfielder Rodrigo Telo.
Maritimo's Brazilian striker Marcelo Carioca celebrated his debut for the Madeira side by equalising with a powerful free kick in the 62nd minute.

Benfica crushed nine-man Moreirense 4-1 on Saturday to secure their first away win of the season.
Winger Simao Sabrosa scored twice for Benfica, once from the penalty spot. Hungarian striker Miklos Feher and Brazilian midfielder Roger completed the rout with a fierce shot from outside area.
