Lokomotiv Moscow were officially dethroned as Russian champions after losing 1-0 to city rivals Torpedo in a premier league derby on Sunday.
Russian international midfielder Igor Semshov scored the only goal shortly after the interval to seal Torpedo's first victory in their last four matches.
The defeat, which snapped Lokomotiv's nine-game unbeaten streak, left the railway side 10 points behind leaders CSKA Moscow with only three games remaining.

CSKA battled to a 1-1 draw with arch-rivals Dynamo in a heated Moscow derby
on Saturday to move four points clear of second-placed Zenit St Petersburg,

CSKA have 55 points, while Lokomotiv remain in third place with 45 points, ahead of fourth-placed Dynamo, also on 45, thanks to a greater number of wins.
Saturn Ramenskoye suffered their second consecutive defeat under former Russia manager Oleg Romantsev, who replaced Vitaly Shevchenko last month following a string of poor results.
After going down 3-0 to struggling Torpedo-Mettalurg Moscow a week ago, Saturn lost 1-0 to Shinnik Yaroslavl on Sunday, dropping to seventh place with 42 points.
